If I had been writing a blog…

You probably didn’t notice that we haven’t been updating our blog very much.

If we had been updating our blog, and been writing about the house, here’s what I would have written about.

These are not in chronological order.

-Replaced front and back doors
-New windows.  Replaced ourselves
-Get water hooked up—water company sucks.  Endless beauracracy, nobody knows anything.
-Gas lines running all over house without ends
-Ran new gas line, got gas turned on
-Furnace installed backwards.  Uh oh.  New furnace?  Rework ducts instead.
-Ran plumbing to downstairs bathroom
-Ran plumbing to kitchen
-Ran electric to kitchen, bathroom and dining room
-Tore out plaster and drywalled dining room
-Moved into dining room for 3 months
-Painted 1 bedroom
-Refinished floors in 1 bedroom
-Patched walls and ceiling in one bedroom
-Installed ceiling fan in one bedroom
-Ran plumbing and electric for clothes washer
-Ran lines to subpanel in attic
-Ran electric from attic subpanel to 1 bedroom
-Painted dining room
-Painted kitchen, walls and ceiling
-Ran electricity to foyer
-Ran electricity and water to water heater
-Ran electricity for stove
-Lined chimney with chimney sleeve
-Boarded up missing windows
-Pulled up carpet in baby room
-Ran electricity to baby room
-Bought a new fridge
-Repaired kitchen window

and on, and on, and on…
