July 3rd work day!

I think most corporate suckers get July 3 off for Independence Day this year.

Don’t worry, there’s no need for disappointment, we’d love it if you could come work at our house instead!

Mockery aside, it would be great if you could make a few hours on Friday morning to help us with a few things.

We’re planning on meeting at the house at 8:30 a.m.  We’ll work from about 9 to 11:30.  Don’t worry about getting there on time or staying for the whole thing, but any time you can provide during that window would be great.

We’ll probably talk and pray for a few minutes at 8:30.  So if you don’t go for that kind of thing, just show up at 9.

We have plenty of jobs to do, but we don’t have a lot of tools.  So, if you come, it would be super-fantastic if you could bring some implements with you.

Rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, weed whackers, clippers, wheel barrow, chainsaw etc. (wheelbarrow listed twice for effect, separate spellings for clarity.

Some of the jobs we have lined up are raking glass out of yard, raking gravel out of yard, cutting down weed mess, cutting down dead branches and separating into smaller pieces, pulling out stumps, etc.

There is some poison ivy, so please bring gloves if you have them, and if you’re especially sensitive maybe long sleeves.

If you don’t have tools, gloves, etc., please still come.  Those with many will provide for those who have none.

We’re not expecting a lot of people to come, so any time you could give would be great.  Please contact us via the contact form if you have any questions.

Thanks!  Before the internet trolls come out, yes, we do intend to subject you as Jesus slaves that morning, barrage you with empty, nonsensical rhetoric and barter with your imaginary eternal salvation.

See you then!
