San Diago
Here we are in beautiful San Diego.
We’re camped at the cheapest campground we could find.
There’s a lot of yelling at night, but it’s 15 minutes from downtown, Mexico and the beach.
$20 is the cheapest they get in California. Most campgrounds, even state parks, cost between $35 and $55 per night. That’s a little outside of our budget.
It’s only four days until the RED BULL AIR RACE.
We’re pretty stoked.
Our friend Zac is flying into San Diego on Friday morning, that’s killer exciting too. We’re definitely missing our friends in Columbus a lot.
We were trying to buy tickets for the air race on Saturday and the site didn’t work. On Sunday we tried again, and their site wasn’t working correctly.
On Monday we tried again, and they must have fixed it because it kept telling us that there were too many users currently in the ordering system, and that we would have to come back later.
We were scared it was going to sell out before we could get in. Fortunately, I had their ticketing phone number stored in my phone from Sunday, so we called them and got three tickets for both days, no problem.
I called Zac and told them they were sold out. He was super bummed.
Good thing it wasn’t true.
Here we come RED BULL AIR RACE.
