Short Answers: Are You Scared?

Yes and No.

Yes, I know that I should be terrified.  When I sit down and rationally think about what we’re doing, there is a lot of uncertainty.

Theoretically, there’s constant danger.  Whether it be violent people, money, nutrition or the elements, we face danger every day.

But in reality, I don’t feel scared at all.

Some situations are scary, but I actually feel a lot of peace.

Really, our odds of something terrible happening out here aren’t that worse than something happening in our apartment off of Parsons Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.

Think about all the stress that is gone from our lives.  We have no debt, no obligations, it’s impossible to forget to pay our bills and we don’t owe the tax man anything.

Finally, and most importantly, when we place ourselves fully into the hands of God he is faithful to us.  When Plan A is God and there is no Plan B, faith multiplies.

I appreciate your expressions of faith and trust in God. I agree, that when our lives are placed in the hands of God, our faith increases and he will in turn help us through anything and everything we do.

I firmly believe that: “When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims of our affection, the demands on our time, the interests we pursue, and the order of our priorities.”

I absolutely agree with your statement “When Plan A is God and there is no Plan B, faith multiplies.” It is so true!
