This Blog Is Dumb
This blog is kind of stupid.
When we started this trip three months ago, we really wanted to share our thoughts (and criticisms) on society, the church, the government, etc.
So we did that for a short time.
But we felt that we were doing so in an arrogant and judgmental way, so we stopped. We decided that the things that we were doing on our trip and what we were learning was more important.
But now, I think we’ve swung too far in that direction.
At this point, you might as well go on MySpace and read about someone’s cat. I think it’s about as interesting as reading our to-do list and casual commentary on our location.

MySpace blog: OMG, Today I dressed my cat like a chicken. lol. BTW, Heather finally called...
Melissa’s pictures are awesome, and tons of people visit this site to enjoy them. But as far as this blog… what’s the point?
So I think it’s time to swing the pendulum back in the other direction.
I think it’s time for us to share our thoughts and criticisms on things like society, organized religion and other topics.
Please know that we’re not trying to be judgmental and we don’t think we have all of the answers.
But after three months of living in our car, I think we’ve earned the right to make a few suggestions.
At the very least, it should be more interesting than reading about things that made me think I was hallucinating in Vegas.
Please don’t be offended. I wish we could all sit around together, and someone could introduce an idea and then you could say, ‘yah, but what about...’, and I could say, ‘yah, that’s true, but you’re forgetting...’.
Unfortunately, we don’t have that opportunity. If you want to come with us, we can definitely do that.
But for now all we have is this website with a comment form. So please use the comment form and start lots of sentences with ‘yah, but...’
It’s either this, or we’re going to have to buy a cat to write about.
Please leave comments below or e-mail us at SimplyOneLife@gmail.com.

I’ve got two cats; you can have one or both. Seriously, cats = no fun.
Anyway, I’ve enjoy every blog entry to date. I agree with you though, I’m ready for you to go back to the guy that questions things more; but I do enjoy living vicariously through the updates on your travels as well.
I really enjoy your blog! I live through you. haha
