The Last Rites of a Bokononist

In Cat’s Cradle, Kurt Vonnegut invents a religion called Bokononism.  This island religion is beautiful in that it is both perfectly harmonious and perfectly contradictory.

These are the last rites, administered immediately before or upon death.

Note:  A “karass” is a group of people, uniquely intertwined by fate, but usually with no official association.
