We wanted to cancel our cell phones before we left Ohio in February, but the cancellation fee was going to more than it would cost to keep the phone until the contract expired in August.
So now we’re back in Ohio, and the contract has expired. We went to T-Mobile, downgraded our plan severely and they gave us a free phone.
Now we have a phone that we won’t be using anymore. It’s a dark blue Motorola Razer.
We could hang onto it “just in case” or throw it away because it’s old to us, but we thought someone else might be able to use it.
If anybody needs a phone, we’d love to give it to you. If you already have a phone, but it’s not very good, this phone probably won’t be much better.
But if your phone has to be plugged in to work, or the buttons are falling off—I’ve got a phone for you.
E-mail us at so we can send it to you.

If I could make a suggestion, I would recommend dropping the phone off at a battered woman’s center. Here in California, they take the old unused cell phones and give them to the battered women, without a cell phone contract. The phone can still dial out to 911 so they actually have a way to report abuse.
Please consider giving it to a group like that. It would help to serve the community in a very thoughtful way.
