The average high in August is 76 degrees. The average high temperature in February is 50 degrees. A maximum 26 degree difference all year?
It’s a big adjustment from Ohio, which has a 50 degree difference in average high between August and January.
Before we came to Seattle I thought the weather stereotype must be a bit of an exaggeration.

From our experience so far, it’s not.
Every day is a little chilly and looks like it might rain. Most Seattleites love the weather. A lot of people like mild summers.
It’s not for us, though. We could probably get used to it, but for some reason we appreciate having more than one season in a year.
