We have a two-burner propane camp stove. Most of the time we buy food at grocery stores and cook wherever we can find a spot, just like at home but simpler.
Our favorite part of experiencing any culture is the food. So hopefully we’ll find ways to buy food in different regions of the country or families to share it with us.
When it comes to cooking, we can do just about anything that you can do at home. Melissa’s even been experimenting with baking in a dutch oven on the stove top.
We try to keep things simple. That means that we eat a lot of fruit, bread and cheese.
