We are constantly losing pens. The pens we salvaged from our apartment disappeared almost immediately so we bought one of those awesome packs of 10 bics for a buck. Hmm, catchy.
That was probably a month ago, and today not a one is to be found.
I like to write down Bible verses when I read because it helps me concentrate and I enjoy looking back over them if I decide to write an insightful? blog.
But now I can’t, because the pens are gone. Finito.
“Put pens on the grocery list,” Brad told me.
Sure, I’ll just write it in blood or something.
Anyhow, here we are in Salt Lake City. Land of the Mormons. I read that 40% of Salt Lake City’s population is Mormon and nearly 70% of the entire state of Utah is also Mormon.
That’s a a lot of Mormons!
By the way, the Mormon temple here is not nearly as large as it looks in pictures. We were highly disappointed. It’s still beautiful, though.
Utah is beautiful. It’s everything I always pictured it to be.
We can swim in the campground pool, look up and see snow on the top of the mountains.
So cool!
We’re headed to Antelope Island State Park tomorrow to camp. It’s in the middle of the Great Salt Lake.
We get to hang out with one of our friends, John, from Ohio who is doing his senior engineering project on the island. Hooray, we love to see our friends!
