I wish it weren't so, but things cost money. We can find a way to put yours to good use.
Prevent forest fires
Who can prevent forest fires? Only you can! Around here you create your own job.

In February of 2008, Brad and Melissa sold most of their possessions, quit their jobs and moved into a 1983 Dodge Falcon campervan. They left Columbus, OH and set out across the country to try and find new ways to follow Jesus free of materialism and consumerism.

Two weeks later, their van was dead in Newport, TN. Give up? They hadn't yet begun to fight.

They rented a car, left most of what they had in the van in Tennessee, and headed back to Grove City, Ohio where, miraculously, their car was waiting for them. It was their only possession that had not instantly sold.

For six months they traveled the country, sleeping in their 4-door 2003 Chevy Cavalier and meeting people along the way.

14,000 miles later they arrived back in Columbus, OH with a new idea of Christian community stirring in their heads. This is that such adventure.

For more information, 200 blog posts are at your fingertips (not for the faint of heart).

Currently, Melissa works at a flower shop in Bexley, Ohio and is developing her own photography business. You can find her professional website at MelissaPauquettePhotography.com.

Brad works as a freelance web designer. You can find his website at Ideas.SimplyOneLife.org.

At this time, Brad and Melissa are the only people who live in the house. We'd like that to change though. Whether you'd like to live there or not, please click here to find out how to get involved.

Thank you very much for your support.
